Princeton University honored Martin Luther King Jr. during a Jan. 18 ceremony featuring reflections on the civil rights leader's legacy, remarks on the continued quest for racial justice in the United States, musical performances from the Trenton Central High School Inspirational Choir, and a recognition of community and campus service efforts. In his introductory remarks, President Christopher L. Eisgruber said this year's event was especially meaningful because "the nation is once again in a period of heightened attention to questions of racial justice."
